Fundraising Activities
Our Mission:
Chartered in 1962, the Sharpstown Rotary Club is an active and proud member of the Houston community and a funding vehicle for community service projects.
Since 1962 OUR MISSION is to increase our impact in our Community, State, Country and the World. We ask you to engage with us through your support.
For an annual subscription price, volunteers will place a large 3×5-foot American Flag on an 8-foot pole in front of your house on four major national holidays.
Join your neighbors in proudly displaying the American Flag in front of your home on major national holidays. You can sign up at any time throughout the year.
Please note: Subscribers must live within the Sharpstown area in order to participate in this program.
Subscribers will receive $5 discount on Sharpstown Civic Association dues!
About our Club
Rotary Club of Sharpstown
We meet weekly at noon on Tuesdays except the fourth week of the month, when we meet on a Thursday evening. The food is excellent, the camaraderie superb and anyone is welcome to attend – Rotarian or not!
1st-3rd & 5th Tuesdays (hybrid):
Time: 11:45AM (we socialize from 11:45AM to noon. The meetings usually run for 60 minutes.)

Our History
Through the contribution of the club’s members to the Rotary Foundation the Sharpstown club participates in all the worldwide service programs of Rotary International.
Since its formation, our club has witnessed first-hand the changing economic fortunes and population diversification of Sharpstown. Our club and its members are active in service projects in the community with special emphasis on the education of disadvantaged children and youth.
A number of our members act as mentors for at-risk High School students attending area schools. Our club also funds scholarships for high school and vocational school students in the surrounding community.

The members of the Rotary Club of Sharpstown are a group of area leaders and other volunteers who have become friends and family through the interactions of our club social and service activities. We always have fun and we are always pleased to meet new friends like YOU!
